Here's one of my latest.  The 4 1/2" blade was forged from 52100 & 1084 to 160 layers then twisted into the "Maidenshair".  The bronze guard was forged from a bearing retainer.  I used the bolt through construction on the antler base handle because I hate pinning and will never depend on glue to hold the handle together.  A piece of antler was used to cover the hole. 003.JPG  005.JPG  009.JPG
