I was reading the Site, AGAIN, this particular thread, http://www.theironforgefire.com/post/a-few-recent-projects-8348240?pid=1300095932, and noticed this picture,

Wow I thought... "SPAM" right in the middle of a great posting of a Members Handy Work.
Then I thought... to myself, these would make great Hardie Tools, add a stub on the bottom... I am going to inquire.

I first asked within the thread, it has only been since July... I assume 2017, and she, "Angela Shen", would respond there, NOT !

Got nothing, so I was back reading and came across my post asking about location and no reply so I decided to e-mail the individual, she posted her e-mail right, Email:angela@anniegroup.com !

Below is what I got back and it only took about one minute to get it !

Too Bad, I was wanting one of these Blocks, maybe even two, they would make great Hardie Tools, without a lot of work.
Any who... I thought I would post about this SPAM Message and HOPE against HOPE that there is no virus underneath it all.

Maybe but I still thought it was a fast way to a great Hardie Tool.

Either way the seller isn't responding anyway !

I will keep my eyes open on eBay and Craigs List... might show up !

I deleted that post from the thread. I don't mind selling for active members.

Lol, just a note,,,

Seeking the faster way in our craft is often much longer and/ or costly than taking the time to learn traditional techniques. [wink]

You're right on the money. They say it takes 10,000 hours to become an expert in any thing. I say that's just about right. It equals a full time job for 5 years.

The way to complete a long journey is the first step..... gollowed by a whole lot more...

Sorry for being late in responding but I needed to ask, "Why on post #5 and 6 ?
Where do the Posts fit in the conversation of the Thread ?
The Thread started by asking about the possibility of these parts being China Steel, got no response from the Seller and then Hank posted it was a Spam message that was deleted.

OK !

So I guess I am repeating... "Why the last two posts" ?  I don't understand the content of the Posts vs the Thread.

Thanks,
Ltr

p.s. (ADDED)  I am not trying to be the A-Hole of the year, just trying to understand !

Lol,I made the post and have no clue...maybe I was posting in another thread and my smarter than me phone decided it belonged here,,

No matter that it's hanging in outer space, it's still valid as a stand alone remark. [wink]
