Hello all new member here looking for some local metal workers for conversation and ideas I do a fair amount of modern metal work at my job and in my free time mostly mig Tig stick and o/a welding and Fab haven't done any true forge work for 20 years me and my grandfather had a small set up and made good memories I use his Hay Budden all the time so I finally got a chance to make a proper stand for it dug out the old Columbian leg vise cleaned her up good and built a decent forge and made the necessary Hardy's and reworked some old tongs wish I would've years ago modern works efficient but forge work has a place in my heart any way look forward to banging some hot metal up here on South mountain and seeing some local works

Mike, just telling us that you are on South mountain doesn't tell us much about your location.  You would like to contact local metal workers.  I also looked at your profile, giving your street address doesn't help either.  You could add a signature on your profile and put you location there.

Sorry about that I've always been better with a torch and hammer than computers with auto fill anyway I updated some things I'm about 10 minutes from Williams Grove PA seems a few folks on here aren't to far from there ........thanks for the heads up
