I love to learn about heritage. Everyone of us has a background and those who came before us do as well. Should I mention that it's worth the occasional look back to help us focus on what's ahead?

I spent the morning looking for chisel and cutting techniques so that a could practice forming intricate leaf or acanthus work. The purpose was to recreate my families coat of arms. What I found was a website that focused on a blacksmithing company with a significant historical past.  I found it very interesting and think you will as well.

Below is the coat of arms for the company and a link giving the explanation of each symbols meaning in the herald. You'll also learn more about the history of "The Worshipful Company of Blacksmiths".
