I've got this small Coleman personal cook set that I wanted to make portable tripod for. So I used some scrap 3/8" round and 3/4" flat bar and came up with this. Since I took the pics I added some reference indents where to put the platform to make it easier to setup and I tightened up the top scrolls a little. This was the first time I really made any sort of rings and my little bending jig really came in handy. It was a pretty fun project and I plan to make another one that stays together by  connecting the platform loops to the vertical members.

I like it!

Rule #10;  "I can make that" translates to; "I'm to cheap to buy it new."

Thanks y'all. It was fun to figure out how to make. I want to make another one soon. And a different bending jig. Funny how when you finish something you automatically see how you could have made it better.
We were going to camp last week, but it would have been more like a river cruise, without all the fun and alot of mud.
