I like the fact you went with a tang through and pinned it.  Most guys just epoxy which in my opinion is risking failure in the future.  So whatcha make it from?

Rule #10;  "I can make that" translates to; "I'm to cheap to buy it new."

Thanks. I actually epoxied(AcraGlass Gel) and peened the tang down. I figured the extra holding strength couldn't hurt. I would love to say that I forged this from raw steal but as of yet, I do not own a forge. This blade started out as a file that I bought in a $1 box at a flee market. The antler came from PetSmart [smile]. I shaped, polished and antiqued the blade. Now I have to figure out what kind of sheath to make for it. I can't wait to start forging my own blades. I'm a gunsmith by trade but get a lot of satisfaction out of building knives. I have 3-4 other knives that I'm in the middle of building but have not completed yet.
