Hello magnet from N E  England im an Engineer for my job but i love to tinker in my smithy down the garden. Ive been collecting blacksmith gear for over 30 years from scrap yards auctions and private sales and have quite a good selection of tools.

I should read post more carefully.

Welcome then from across the pond. Many talented smiths in that part of the world. Glad to see you've joined us. Some of us get excited if we find something 100 to 200 years old to add to our collections. I guess that would be considered new in your area.

Besides, I understand it's beautiful to drive in the country side in N. E. England if you have the opportunity to do so.

Well we do have Hadrians wall  built by the Romans to keep the Scottish in Scotland
