I had a productive day today. I didn't get to do any forging, unfortunately. But I finally got a 2x72 and I got to clean out my garage so that I can work alot more comfortably!

I built a shelf and cleaned up and clear coated an old Mac Tools tool box some fool took to the scrapyard. I separated my hot work, cold work and wood working chisels and punches in it. You can also see the wrought iron wagon wheel I got for about $13 at the same scrapyard that had the tool box. Looks good. Sometimes you just gotta sacrifice forging time to make things better for the long run.

That's how I saw today's work. I also swept and blew out all the metal/wood/coal/abrasive dust. Can't wait to work in it now!

It's always nice to get in and work a clean shop.  Problem is, it never stays clean.  [rolleyes]

Rule #10;  "I can make that" translates to; "I'm to cheap to buy it new."

You can say that again. Or as many times as physically possible.

Nice job, Anthony; one man's junk is another man's treasure.

I've been playing around with my new welding machine recently, so that is taking up some of my forging time. But it is all for further production!

Today was nice and I would have preferred to clean my shop. Instead O built a fence to keep the dog in the backyard. He finally realized the electronic fence wasn't working. Been about 2 years. Maybe tomorrow.

Very nice, most of the first hour I'm in the shop is cleaning up from the time before, really brings down the mood. Maybe l try cleaning after I'm done so the next time I can get right to work. I really hope you like that grizzly. It looks like a fine machine
