This is what I did with the handle that I had left after I broke the flux spoon I was trying to make for the "Iron In The Pot" contest. I gave it to a good buddy of mine in time for the Memorial Day festivities. He said it worked like a charm and his Father in law wants one now. [wink]

Just make something!

Nice for the save. Your handle turned out great and I like the Texas Long Horn style. Looking forward to matching Tongs?

Thanks Hank. Got another one planned with a bottle opener integrated in it, like my earlier steak turner. I have been turning some ideas over about how to do some tongs. Maybe one day.

Hey Norrin, is it possible to post a pic of the finished turner? I'd like to pin it.

How do you pin stuff from the forums?

Google "Pinterest pin button". You should find a download that you load on your computer. Then go to the web page with images you want to pin and click the "pin it" button from your tool bar and it will open a screen that has all the pictures you can choose. Click the pic then choose the board and click "pin"

Thanks, glad you liked it.

I need to get back on the flux spoon soon. During the part in that video where I'm tapering the handle in high speed you can see how much the spoon bowl was vibrating. I'm pretty sure that's what killed it, just like someone else posted in the other thread.

Glad I had the vid to critique, maybe I'll get the next one right.

thanks again.
