It looks like that I can post photos - I have read where Photobucket is charging 400 $ per year.  I believe in free enterprise, but....this seems to be more wallet friendly.  I did not make these, maybe I should not post them because...I hope they will get over it...these were both given to me.  The bottom one was purported to be made from an old auto leaf spring.  The piece of elk antler is mine looking for a blade.  To give you an idea of the low humidity around here these both have just been in the open in the garage for like 23 years.
When I was a kid I use to live in Iowa and Minnesota and things could rust over night.  One time I worked in Guam for two was said that it rained somewhere on the island every day - I believe it.  It was also said that one could put a stethoscope on a piece of steel and hear it rust - I don't know about that one - never tried it.  [smile] [smile]

I use

But photos on here work fine.

I imagine, if this site grows really big, then storage space could become an issue.  Then using a photo hosting site would be a courtesy.  But right now, I can't imagine it being a problem.  Plus, if you use a photo site, eventually, you'll probably lose the photos and the post would be irrelevant.
Or, if not smithies per se, were you otherwise trained in the metallurgic arts before straitened circumstances forced you into a life of aimless wanderin'?
