Hundred weight is added as follows:

The first digit is multiplies by 112
The second digit is the quarter weight or one fourth of 112 or 28
The third number represents actual pounds. So any digit represented is the number shown.

An anvil with the marks of    1 - 2 - 0  has a weight of 168 pounds.


1 = 112 x 1 = 112
2 =   28 x 2 =   56
0 =     1 x 0 =   0

112 + 56 + 0 = 168 lbs.
